E-MAIL SYSTEM
DateDash.com provides an anonymous email system for contacting other
members by using an internal email system. When you are viewing
a member who you want to contact, simply click the "Send Email"
button. This will bring up a message box where you can type in your
message. For your convenience, the profile of the member you are
contacting is displayed right below the message box. When you submit
your message, the member is notified that there is new mail waiting
for him or her. This e-mail feature is for Gold members only.
Note: Your email address is never revealed to other members. They
only know you by your member user name.
When you login to DateDash.com, just click on the "Mail Box" button to view your inbox and new messages. When you click on a message to view it, a reply box is displayed for you below their message.
Politely Declining Contact - It's always hard to turn someone
down when they have contacted you but you are not interested. On
the other hand, it's tough on the other person to be left hanging.
We have made this awkward situation easier for you. When viewing
a member's message, there is a "Politely Decline" button available.
This button will send the person a politely-worded message gently
declining contact.
Blocking Email from a Member - If you do not wish contact
from a particular member, you can put that person on your "Blocked
Member List." This person will no longer be able to send you messages
unless you remove the block from that person. You do this by clicking
on the "Block Member" button when viewing his/her profile or when
you receive an email. You can click on "Remove Block" later to remove
the block.

Silver and Gold Members are able to use our custom-built
chat environment. It is the latest technology in chatroom software.
The software is driven by PULPchat. There are no software downloads,
no waiting time to load, no annoying refresh screen blinking--simply
click and start chatting instantly. There are many unique features.
You can invite other members into a chatroom for one-on-one chat
or however many people you like. You create the room and invite
as many other members as you wish. No one else can access the room
except members you invite--perfect for getting to know other members
one-on-one. Send private messages to other members in a crowded
room. You can also page other members with a beep or vibrate mode.
Plus many other fun options. We know you'll love this chat feature.
SENDING
SHOOTING STARS
Both Silver and Gold Members are able send and receive unlimited Shooting Stars. Your "Star Box" is a very special feature of this site. This is a fun and quick way to show interest in someone you find at DateDash.com. It also is a good way to show interest without having to write an email. Simply click the "Send a Shooting Star" button next to their profile and they will be notified in their Star box (similar to a mail box). If you send or receive a Shooting star, this may be a perfect opportunity to contact them through email or invite them into a chat room.

You think you're hot stuff? Well now you can prove it! All Silver and Gold members have access to this feature. If you choose, you may submit a photo for others members to vote on a scale from 1 to 10. Member photos are given an average rating based on votes cast. Vote on women only, men only or both. Go ahead, let’s see what you got. You do not need to submit a photo to vote. |

Members may include a photo with their ads. Photos can be submitted through the site, or we will scan in your photos for free.
How
important is it to include a photo? -It
can be very important. We all like viewing ads with photos.
In fact, ads with photos get approximately 10 times more responses
than ads without photos. This makes sense because you feel more
connected with someone when you can see her or his picture (there's
a real person behind that ad). You can also get more of a sense
of the person's personality through his or her photo.
You
may submit up to 4 FOUR PHOTOS for other members to view!!
Also, many people just browse ads with photos and never look at the ads without photos. So, you don't need a photo to be a member, but it is highly recommended that you include one.
